WHAT IS PREPARED TO PROTECT?

The Prepared to Protect less-than-lethal pepper round series of self defense products is comprised of devices that were developed by UMAREX under the T4E brand of CO₂ powered training platforms. UMAREX is a family-owned company with interests in empowering people with the confidence to protect themselves, their families, and possessions without the use of deadly force associated with a firearm. Being Prepared to Protect offers peace of mind when children are present and firearms are unwanted. Usability is optimized by their light-weight size and unique frames. The UMAREX easy-to-use Quick Pierce System incorporated into its pistols charge the pepper device in an instant making it ready to fire multiple pepper rounds with accuracy up to 50 feet.

Prepared 2 Protect devices come with rubber balls so that a user can easily become comfortable with its effective and reliable operation before loading the included pepper rounds that provide strong and debilitating reactions when deployed.

HOW DOES THE HDP50 WORK?

The P2P HDP50 is simple and effective when used properly. Every user should read and understand the Owner’s Manual before loading CO₂ or projectiles. When loaded with CO₂ and six .50 caliber pepper rounds, the HDP50 can quickly be charged with the tap of the QPS (Quick Piercing System) knob located at the bottom of the grip. With proper aim to the torso or body the firing and consequential rupture of pepper rounds can effectively debilitate a threat giving you the ability to get to safety.

WHAT TYPE OF ROUNDS DOES THE HDP50 FIRE?

The Prepared2Protect HDP50 self-defense pistol fires .50 caliber projectiles. It is designed to shoot P2P pepper rounds, inert powder rounds, or rubber balls. T4E branded rubber balls may also be used.

WILL P2P SELF DEFENSE PISTOLS FIT A HOLSTER?

The HDP50 is roughly the size of a full-size polymer handgun. There are a variety of aftermarket holsters it will fit. It is your responsibility to know and comply with the laws and ordinances that govern you before carrying any handgun.

HOW LONG WILL A CO₂ CARTRIDGE LAST?

CO₂ cartridges have an indefinite shelf life when not pierced. In the HDP50 the cartridge is not pierced until you tap the Quick Piercing System knob, so you can always keep an un-punctured CO₂ cartridge at-the-ready in your P2P pistol. It is recommended that you load a new CO₂ cartridge after every use whether in practice or to debilitate a threat. A punctured CO₂ cartridge will leak and can decrease the life of the device’s seals.
